The ketones drastically slow down when taken with food. So it will get very expensive if you insist on taking it with food. Best to have it an hour after an overnight fast or 2 hours on either side of taking it.
No it is not. Unlike the weaker Ketone Salts, the Ketone Ester can be used by non-Keto people.
Two main differences. First, most Ketone Salts are "racemic" which means it is only 50% bioavailable (only half of it can be used by the body as fuel). Secondly, the Salts have a MASSIVE salt load, often buried under the lesser known salts like potassium, magnesium and calcium. Often exceeding 2-4 grams. Technically the peak is 45 minutes, and then it starts to go down. But ketones in the blood isn't what is important. It is when it LEAVES the blood and goes to your brain, muscles etc that is starts to work.
It is really important to understand the difference between Endogenous Ketosis, where your body burns fat and Exogenous Ketosis, where you drink ketones and the result is ketones in your blood. You can't merge the two. Drinking ketones doesn't magically make you burn your fat.
